LIGA Skill Development Academy is a pioneering training academy dedicated to empowering Sri Lankan skilled workers aspiring to build successful careers overseas. Our training programmes
Five construction trades. Every course runs one week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, in Sinhala or English.
Tiler
Set out, cut and lay floor and wall tiles to a finish an overseas site will accept.

Prepare, render and finish wall surfaces flat, plumb and ready for paint.

Build, set and strike the moulds (formwork) that concrete is poured into.

Train

Get certified
Pass your assessments and receive a certificate that can be verified.
Get placed
You are shortlisted and submitted to an overseas employer by our in-house placement agency.

Assessed and certified, not just attended
Complete the assessments in Sinhala or English, demonstrate your skills, and earn a valuable certificate upon successful completion.

Trade skills

Real site knowledge and safety: working at height, damaged power tools, concrete mixes, reinforcement, striking formwork, tiling preparation, and knowing when to ask for training instead of attempting an untrained task.
Your certificate carries a unique number and a verification QR code, so an employer can confirm it is genuine.
